About Sadira
I did my degree in Linguistics with an emphasis in experimental methodology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I am now doing post graduate work at the University of Maryland . I have 3 years of tutoring experience. I tutored college students in writing, semantics, syntax, and German language. I am well versed in theories of learning and approaches to pedagogy. I received training in tutoring and teaching at the University of California.

I always approach each lesson with a specific and targeted plan of what the student should learn that day. I like to communicate to the student what the goal of each lesson is, and how we will reach that goal together. It is important that the student is on board with the goal and the method, as the lessons are always for their benefit and learning. I always like to check in throughout the lesson with the student that it is going well and as planned and that they are understanding the topic. This way the student and I can make measurable progress towards the learning goal.
