About Georgia
Having built myself from the ground up, teaching myself English to the point of near-nativeness though I've never lived in an English-speaking country, turning myself from a melancholic person to a motivated & confident public-speaker and hustler. This is what qualifies me to provide life coaching, performance coaching, business English learning, accent perfecting, and the Romanian language (which is my native language). I am an acutely self-aware type A person who can teach you how to be productive, achieve your goals, find discipline and motivation, as well as how to communicate more efficiently with those around you. In fact, that is why I am interested in language tutoring, because developing one's vocabulary means developing their understanding of the world. University : - Babes Bolyai Cluj - Journalism [2:1] - Gheorghe Cristea - Law [2:1] - Babes Bolyai - Conflict Management (Ma) [2:1] Prizes and Scholarships : University scholarship at the Masters level (top of my class). Other Qualifications : TOEFL 116/120

Georgia is the best English tutor that I have ever had. Because I am not the traditional grammar-loving type A person, it has been difficult for me to learn from other teachers.
What I wanted - and what Georgia delivered - was advice and resources as to how I can improve my usable English and how I can build the necessary confidence to throw myself into challenging situations where English was the only option.
Later, we began working on the Business English and the formal nuances of the language.I have known Georgia for eighteen months in a professional work environment. She came aboard with our organization at a satellite office and her work was immediately identifiable as excellent among a deep pool of very talented, newly post-graduate student team members. Three months into her tenure with the company at our satellite office, we invited her to move to our headquarters location where she showed incredible development as a thought leader, process architect and implementer. We have worked closely together on a genuinely disruptive technology project on a near daily basis for more than 15 months. Our communication is often and regular and I have come to know her very well professionally and personally. Our correspondence involves both considerable face-to-face interactions and written/digital engagement. I probably know Georgiana as well as any non-direct family member in her life and am probably as well suited to speak to her skills and character as anyone.
In an effort to keep this readable and succinct, I’ll listing a number of worthwhile observations that we all made in Georgiana during her tenure with us – both as a professional and as a human being. They are as follows:
• She is intelligent. Unlike few that I have ever seen, she can take a subject for which she has little/no knowledge and be able to make logical, constructive inputs very quickly.
• She is smart. She is as effective at implementing as she is at studying and designing.
• She is very self-motivating – particularly where she is challenged
• She is honest. She’s as prepared to tell you something is crap as she is that its food.
• She writes and speaks impeccable English (better than most Americans) – likely in the top .01% of Romanians who’ve learned English as a second language.
• She is highly organized and understands time management really well.
In short, I believe that there are many things to be learned and which recommend Georgia for tutoring other people.View more recommendations
