About Raphaël
French former club and team player (departemental 2 adult and national 3 young), I had to stop the competition to devote myself to my studies but I am still active, especially online. For a long time, I have shared my passion in particular with the beginners of my club and in 2017, I obtained the DIFFE (Diploma of 'Initiateur' of the French Chess Federation), recognized by the state. Possibility of lessons in English, although, as you may see, I'm no native speaker.

I can teach the basis (basic rules, goal of the game, history ...) to all types of students but also more advanced lessons, on tactical patterns, strategies, the opening theory or the technical phase in the endgame. The courses will fully adapt to your needs and your level. I have many resources to help you progress (books, articles, possibility of computer analysis, exercises ...)
Finally, I offer online training games on platforms like Lichess.org Important: The courses will take place by Skype!

Excellent! Raphaël est ponctuel. Je pense que cette qualité n'est pas qu'un détail.
J'ai donc assisté à la première leçon (offerte) de mon fils (8 ans) et je trouve que Raphaël a une réelle expérience de l'enseignement du jeu d'échec, il a une méthodologie adaptée et sait revenir en arrière pour mieux expliquer et préciser. Une chose que j'ai appréciée particulièrement, c'est sa capacité à manier la méthode que je qualifierais d'essai-erreur : il incite l'élève à se lancer, le laisse faire des erreurs et revient sur l'erreur mais après avoir incité l'élève à tâtonner pour trouver l'erreur et, autant que possible, la solution. N'étant pas joueur moi-même, j'ai pu vivre en temps réel ce qu'un débutant peut sentir, éprouver quand il apprend avec Raphaël.View more reviews

Raphaël est un jeune homme très sympathique et fiable qui saura vous transmettre efficacement ses connaissances par des explications claires.
