About Jessa Mae
I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with a major in Mathematics and almost eight years of teaching experience in both classroom and online settings. I have taught students from elementary to senior high school, and I am passionate about helping learners understand lessons in a simple and enjoyable way.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I believe that every student can succeed when given clear explanations, guided practice, and encouragement. I take time to adjust my lessons to each student’s level and learning pace so they can build both their skills and confidence.
In my classes, I create a positive and respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I focus not only on getting the correct answer but also on helping students truly understand the process.
As a professional educator, I value punctuality, preparation, and effective communication with students and parents. My goal is to provide high-quality lessons that help students improve academically while developing confidence in their own abilities. As a tutor, my approach is simple, patient, and student-centered. I believe that every student can learn when lessons are explained clearly and at the right pace. I focus on helping students understand the lesson, not just memorize the answers. During class, I explain concepts step by step, use easy examples, ask questions to check understanding, and give students time to practice on their own. I also provide encouragement and positive feedback so they can become more confident in learning.
A typical K–12 lesson begins with a short review of the previous lesson. Then I introduce the new topic and explain it using simple language and examples that are easy to understand. After that, we practice together, and I guide the student through the process. The student is then given a chance to solve problems independently while I observe and provide support if needed. At the end of the lesson, I check the student’s understanding and give feedback on their work.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my experience and patience. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with almost eight years of teaching experience. I understand that students learn in different ways, so I adjust my teaching style according to their needs and level. I always create a friendly and comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and make mistakes without fear.
My lessons are for K–12 students, from elementary to senior high school. I can help students who need extra support in mathematics or English, assistance with homework, review for quizzes and exams, or additional practice to improve their skills. My goal is to make learning clear, easy, and enjoyable while helping students build both their understanding and their confidence.
