About Ellie-Mae
Whilst I'm younger than some of your more typical tutors, I believe my passion and love for maths shines through. I understand some days it can be tough, and you don't feel like doing anything, but it isn't always about motivation. Ask yourself why you want to get better at that subject and use that to push yourself towards your goals. After having recently sat through my exams, I believe my first-hand experience is beneficial as I can relate to the struggles and stress of being a student worrying about exams but throughout that time I've learned coping mechanisms and techniques. However, you can never underestimate the power that comes with being prepared and feeling like somebody else is fighting in your corner.

I aim to provide structured support and assistance to help with long-term understanding of maths through the use of visual walkthroughs of each topic, as well as resources to test students' abilities helping to focus on areas of difficulty. The lessons are between 45 minutes - 2 hours dependent on students' personal needs as well as availability. I have experience working with children from the ages of 4-7 and 10-15 helping to engage others in specialised activities catered to their needs.
