About Maariyah
I’m an A-Level student passionate about maths and biology, and I love helping others understand these subjects better. I want to teach because I know how confusing topics can be, and I enjoy making learning clearer and more enjoyable for students, helping them build confidence and succeed. As I have experience in A-Level maths and biology, not understanding basic concepts thoroughly can lead to challenges in later years. I believe even students who find these subjects difficult can excel in the correct environment.

I’m a friendly A-Level student who teaches maths and biology to younger academic years (primary school-year 10). I believe learning should feel clear, personal, and even enjoyable. My approach is all about building real understanding—not just memorising—for long-term confidence. I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s pace and learning style, making sure they feel supported, not overwhelmed. Whether it’s tricky exam content or just building the basics, I aim to make lessons relaxed, focused, and genuinely helpful. I have achieved both A’s in the subject I teach and also have experience tutoring previously.

Absolutely great tutor, she has very clear and understandable explanations, she helped bring my children up from 4s in their mocks to 7s in their real GCSES. I'd definitely recommend her.
She took me from a grade D to a grade B after a few weeks of help! I was stuck on a D for the longest time and just could not get my grade up. I then found Maariyah and can now apply for my dream universities with the grades I have. I couldn’t recommend her enough. She thoroughly explains all the content in a way that I can understand. Just to top the good grades off she is also a very kind hearted individual.
Maariyah allowed my son to excel in his maths GCSE. My son has dyscalculia and had always struggled with his maths from being young, but Maariyah brought the best out’ve him, ultimately leading to him achieving and 8 in his GCSE! Better than any school teacher that he has had in the past!!
Maariyah helped me to achieve a grade 8 on my GCSE exams, when I was predicted a 3 a month before. She really helped me and I would recommend her as a tutor to anyone.
