About Yusuf
I’m a dedicated and approachable A-level student currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths, with the long-term goal of becoming a doctor. I achieved grade 9s in all GCSE sciences and narrowly missed a grade 9 in Maths, which reflects my strong academic ability and commitment to my studies. I genuinely enjoy helping others understand topics they find challenging and believe that confidence is key to success. Having recently completed GCSEs myself, I understand the pressures students face and know how to explain content in a clear, relatable way. I’m patient, organised, and supportive, and I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and motivated to improve.

My lessons are fully personalised to each student’s ability and goals. I begin by identifying weak areas, then explain topics clearly using simple, step-by-step methods. Lessons focus on building strong subject understanding as well as exam technique, including how to approach questions, avoid common mistakes, and gain full marks. I use past-paper questions regularly to improve confidence and track progress. My aim is to create a supportive, motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and see clear improvement in their grades over time.
