About Samida
Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a genuine passion for Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Computer Science, not only because I enjoy the subjects themselves, but because I love the challenge of solving difficult problems and finding elegant solutions.
I decided to become a tutor because I want to pass on the techniques, strategies, and problem-solving skills that helped me achieve top grades. During my GCSEs at Chelmsford County High School for Girls and my A Levels at Brampton Manor Sixth Form, I have been exposed to highly effective study methods, exam techniques, and challenging questions that have transformed the way I approach learning. Many students work incredibly hard but are never taught the tricks, shortcuts, and ways of thinking that can make a huge difference in both understanding and exam performance. My goal is to share these insights with my students so they can avoid common mistakes, study more efficiently, and achieve the best results possible.
Beyond my academic achievements, I have experience running a Python coding club and an online tutoring business, where I have helped students improve their confidence and reach their goals. Every student I have tutored has achieved their target grade or higher, and I take pride in adapting my teaching style to suit each individual's needs.
I believe that success in Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science is not about natural talent - it is about learning the right methods, developing strong problem-solving skills, and practising effectively. Through my tutoring, I aim to give students the confidence, knowledge, and techniques needed to unlock their full potential and achieve results they can be proud of.

Hi, I’m Samida, a post A-Level student predicted 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. I achieved six 9s and four 8s in my 10 subjects at GCSE and studied at Brampton Manor Sixth Form for my A Levels.
A key part of my development at Brampton Manor, as well as at Chelmsford County High School for Girls, involved consistently practising highly challenging, exam-style and beyond-syllabus questions in Maths and Further Maths. This built strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach unfamiliar questions with confidence, making standard exam questions feel significantly more manageable. I bring this same approach into my tutoring, helping students develop both depth of understanding and strong exam technique.
I have also built an extensive bank of Maths and Further Maths exam resources, including Edexcel practice papers, past papers, mock exams, sample and specimen papers, shadow papers across all years, IAL and OCR-MEI papers tailored to the Edexcel specification. One of the most effective tools for exam preparation is a booklet of the most challenging questions across all papers recommended to be done in the few days coming up to the exam. Students also receive access to online textbooks for all subjects to support their independent learning.
I offer tutoring in Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science for students from primary level through to A-Level. My teaching style is structured, focused, and exam-oriented. I prioritise building strong conceptual understanding first, then developing exam technique through targeted practice, past paper questions, and step-by-step guidance. My goal is to push students to achieve the highest grade they are capable of, while adapting to each student’s needs - whether that is securing a pass or achieving top grades.
Every student I have tutored has achieved their target grade or higher, reflecting my focus on clear teaching, exam preparation, and consistent improvement.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and include clear explanations, guided examples, and independent problem-solving to ensure full understanding before progressing.
I also have experience running a Python coding club and an online tutoring business, where I have supported students of different abilities, helping them build confidence, improve understanding, and perform strongly in exams.
