About Safiyah
I am dedicated to helping students succeed in GCSE English and improve their overall English skills as a whole. I have 3 years of experience working with and supporting young people and am looking to apply my skills to assist your child in achieving their goals. I understand the current exam system and what is expected of students. I plan structured and well-organised online lessons that will be tailored to each student’s needs. I am patient, friendly, and determined to help every student build confidence, improve their exam technique, and reach their full potential in a supportive and professional (but most importantly fun) learning environment!

- I use a step-by-step teaching style where I first model examples, then practise together, and finally let the student try independently. I use a range of vocabulary building exercises, active recall quizzes, and exam-style practice tasks to build confidence and understanding of content. I also adapt each lesson to match the student’s needs and pace.
- Lessons are typically 60 minutes online.
- I have completed my GCSEs with a Grade 6 in English Language and Grade 8 in English Literature, and I am currently studying A-Levels. I also have 3 years of experience working with and supporting students, helping them build skills and confidence.
- These Lessons would be suitable for Primary school students age 7 to GCSE level who want to improve their English skills, prepare for exams, or gain more confidence in reading and writing.
