About Martha
I’m a Year 12 student at a state grammar school, currently studying A-Level Chemistry, Maths, Physics, and Further Maths. I recently completed 11 GCSEs, achieving top grades across my subjects. I regularly participate in STEM competitions, including achieving bronze in the UKMT Senior Challenge, which has strengthened my problem-solving skills and passion for STEM. My ultimate aspiration is to become a chemical engineer, either through university or a degree apprenticeship, and I aim to share my enthusiasm and knowledge with my students to help them reach their potential.

I offer 1-hour tutoring lessons tailored for Year 9–11 students aiming for top GCSE grades. My lessons focus on practical exam preparation, using exam questions, model answers, examiners’ reports, textbooks, and PowerPoint resources to ensure students understand exactly what’s required to succeed. Having recently sat my own GCSEs, I have first-hand experience of exam pressures and strategies for achieving high grades, which I use to guide and motivate my students. Additionally, I have experience tutoring maths, giving me the skills to explain concepts clearly and help students build confidence.
