About Habiba
My name is Habiba, and I am a dedicated and professional GCSE Maths and Science tutor with experience teaching students in a local tuition centre. I take pride in creating a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
I have completed my A-Levels and am currently taking a gap year, during which I continue to develop my teaching skills while supporting students academically. I am due to begin studying Audiology at university next year, a healthcare-related degree that reflects my strong scientific background, commitment to learning, and high standards of professionalism.
Through my tutoring experience, I have worked with students of different abilities and learning styles, allowing me to adapt my approach to suit each individual. I place a strong emphasis on clear explanations, exam-focused practice, and steady progress, helping students to improve both their understanding and their performance in GCSE examinations.
I am reliable, organised, and committed to providing high-quality tuition. My aim is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to build their confidence and independence in Maths and Science.

My name is Habiba, and my approach to tutoring is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I focus on building strong foundations in GCSE Maths and Science by breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and explaining concepts in a way that is easy to understand. I regularly use exam-style questions, guided practice, and active questioning to check understanding and boost confidence.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, allowing enough time to review key content, practise questions, and address any areas of difficulty. I adapt my teaching style depending on the student, whether they need extra support with core topics, help improving exam technique, or confidence-building through steady progression.
I have experience teaching at a local tuition centre, where I worked with students of varying abilities and learning styles. I have completed my A-Levels and am currently taking a gap year, during which I am keen to continue supporting students academically and helping them reach their full potential.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE students, typically aged 11–16, who are studying Maths and/or Science and want structured support, clearer explanations, and personalised guidance in a calm and encouraging environment.
