About Mark
Hi! I am a second year undergraduate studying English at the University of Oxford. I enjoy studying literary texts and would love to be able to help others in their learning. With 30+ hours tutoring experience, I am used to sourcing materials that suit the needs of the student and tailoring lessons to strengthen areas they are less confident in. I teach KS3, GCSE, A level and can offer guidance on university applications for English students. Don't hesitate to reach out!

A level: Three As
University: Achieved 57/60 in English entrance exam and distinction in first year exams.

I design engaging material to suit the needs of each student with a focus on strengthening areas that they feel less confident in. I have found that discussion is a really important part of understanding new ideas and so spend time talking about concepts and hearing the student's opinion on aspects of a text before refining the skills necessary to commit it to paper.
Lessons may vary from 30 minutes to an hour.
