About Sanaa
I am currently studying A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, having achieved Grade 9s in Triple Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Graphics, Geography, and Business Studies, along with a Distinction in English Speaking and top marks in Additional Maths. I have also earned awards in numerous maths competitions, including Gold in the UKMT Maths Challenge, the Girls’ Maths Olympiad, the Bebras Challenge, and the British Informatics Olympiad, and have contributed maths articles to school newsletters. I have experience tutoring students from KS2 up to Year 10, including GCSE Chemistry students, focusing on deep understanding of concepts and applying them effectively to exam questions. My lessons prioritise top grades while building confidence and clarity. I use personalised teaching methods, tailoring explanations to each student’s learning style through step-by-step problem-solving, visual aids, or real-life examples. Lessons combine conceptual understanding, exam technique, and past-paper practice to help students reach their full potential. I aim to make physics clear, manageable, and even enjoyable for GCSE students. I use personalised teaching methods, adapting my explanations to each student’s learning style — whether they prefer visual diagrams, step-by-step problem solving, or real-life examples to understand abstract concepts. Lessons typically last one hour, allowing enough time for explanation, guided practice, and questions. I focus not only on theory, but also on exam techniques, helping students build confidence in applying concepts and tackling past paper questions effectively. As a current A-Level physics student with a Grade 9 in GCSE Physics, I have recent experience with the GCSE curriculum and understand common pitfalls students face. I have also helped peers and younger students through informal tutoring, giving me practical teaching experience. My lessons are ideal for students in years 9–11 preparing for GCSE Physics, whether they want to strengthen their understanding, improve grades, or aim for top marks. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace and goals, ensuring focused and effective learning.
