About Millie
I’m currently working towards gaining my Qualified Teacher Status in primary education at university. But I want any experience that I can get working with students of all ages so that I can feel more confident in sharing my knowledge and teaching skills. I’m most comfortable with AQA exam board KS3-KS4 but also have experience teaching year 12 A-Level Maths catch-up lessons. I’ve also done a 5-month placement in a reception class where I taught maths, English and reading lessons. I typically teach lessons and topics in a ‘learn one, do one, teach one’ approach as I’ve found this is the best way to secure foundation knowledge but I’m adaptable to working with methods that work best for each student.
