My Techniques and Teaching Methodology I take a patient, structured, and supportive approach to teaching. My lessons are designed to make challenging concepts easy to understand through step-by-step explanations, real-world examples, and plenty of practice. I tailor my methods to each student’s learning style, focusing on building confidence, strong problem-solving skills, and a genuine understanding of the subject. Typical Length of a Lesson Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I can adjust the duration to 45 or 90 minutes depending on the student’s needs and goals. My Qualifications and Experience I achieved top grades in my GCSEs — Grade 9 in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics, and an A (the highest obtainable grade) in Additional Mathematics, with a score of 235/240 in GCSE Mathematics. In addition to my academic achievements, I have completed a year of maths mentoring for underprivileged primary school students, helping them prepare for their SATs and 11+ exams. This experience has strengthened my ability to explain complex topics clearly and adapt my teaching to younger learners’ needs. Who the Lessons Are For My lessons are ideal for students from primary to GCSE level, including those preparing for SATs, 11+, or GCSE exams. I welcome learners of all abilities — whether you’re looking to strengthen your foundations, improve exam performance, or build confidence in maths and science.
