About Elliott
I’m an A-level Computer Science student with a deep interest in technology, programming, and how systems actually work. I’ve spent the past few years studying the subject in depth and helping my peers understand challenging topics such as coding logic, algorithms, and data representation. I take tutoring seriously — I plan each session to match the student’s pace and individual needs, focus on understanding rather than memorising, and create an environment where questions are always welcome, even when they go beyond the specification. My approach is friendly, structured, and creative, and I always aim to build long-term confidence rather than short-term cramming. I’ve achieved strong results in Computer Science and other analytical subjects, and I bring that same level of focus to every lesson. Whether online or in Bristol, my goal is to help students feel capable, curious, and ready to reach their full potential.

I’m obsessed with how tech actually works, not just how to memorise it. My lessons are designed for GCSE students who want Computer Science to finally click — whether that’s logic gates, algorithms, or getting Python to stop throwing errors. My approach is simple: I don’t teach from a script or textbook, I teach from understanding. Each session starts by identifying exactly where you’re struggling and why, then breaking that barrier down step by step. Once the logic makes sense, the memorising takes care of itself. I teach the way I wish I’d been taught — adaptive, encouraging, and focused on the why before the how. My lessons go beyond the GCSE specification so you’re not just ready for exams, but able to think like a programmer. We’ll explore how real-world technology connects to what you’re learning, so Computer Science stops feeling abstract and starts feeling powerful. A typical lesson lasts around an hour. We’ll start with a short recap, dive deep into one concept, and then apply it through discussion or problem-solving. If we’re mid-breakthrough, we’ll keep going until it clicks — understanding always comes first. My sessions are relaxed, interactive, and completely built around you. I want you to finish every lesson feeling confident, curious, and excited about what you’ve just learnt. My goal isn’t just to get you the grade — it’s to make you actually love the subject.

I met Elliott a couple years ago at a family gathering. We have a common interest in computer science and that became very clear very quickly, as the whole night we discussed algorithms and logic gates.

Each session is fully planned around the student’s needs — including personalised materials, progress tracking, and live support tailored to their goals. I dedicate time outside of lessons to lesson planning, resource creation, and answering any follow-up questions. I also manage my tutoring alongside A-Level studies, giving me direct insight into the current spec and challenges. My rate reflects the prep time, energy, and commitment I bring to every lesson — both in-person and online.
For in-person tutoring, I rely on my bike to travel reliably across Bristol. Part of my rate goes toward maintaining it so I can consistently deliver sessions without interruption.
