About Harry
Hey, my name is Harry Barrett.
I am a recently matriculated student who achieved an A* in Accounting, and I’m passionate about helping others overcome the same struggles I once faced.
Having battled ADHD throughout school, I learned to develop unconventional and personalized study methods that allowed me to succeed academically. This experience helps me understand students who feel frustrated, overwhelmed, or lacking confidence in their abilities.
I’ve been accepted to study a BSc in Business Administration through the University of London (online) as I dream of one day operating my own business.
For now my goal is to inspire and support IGCSE Accounting students, helping them build not only strong understanding, but also the confidence I once lacked in school.

Many believe that students should ‘parrot study’ to pass exams, but I take a different, more personalized approach.
My goal is to enrich student’s understanding of Accounting, helping them see the bigger picture of difficult concepts while reinforcing the simpler topics to build confidence in their skills.
Too often, students are knowledgeable but lack self-belief, learning only because someone told them to.
My tutoring is more like mentorship in Accounting — guiding students to truly understand, apply, and feel confident in their abilities, rather than just completing another lesson.
Overall, I hope to create a more friend like bond with those seeking to learn from me rather than the traditional teacher student role portrayed in school.

I recommend Harry as a tutor, he is patient and very knowledgeable.
He explains topics in a very clear manner and has helped me understand topics I initially found difficult.Harry is an excellent tutor he teaches in a logical process which is easy to understand. Your accounting knowledge will definitely improve if you attend his lessons.
I've known Harry for a large part of my school life, and it he has been an incredible friend to me and all others in our group. Since ive know Harry for long i have managed to see his numerous strengths. But his biggest one is determination and drive to complete a task. His planning and coordinating is also where he excels. There are plenty of excursions where Harry has managed to bring our whole friend group together all because of his perfect planning and coordination with everyone else. I would recommend Harry for anything because I have confidence he will excel at it
