About Ziad
I'm Ziad, a professional musician, producer, and guitarist with over eight years of experience in performance, composition, and studio work. I’ve collaborated with internationally recognised artists, including Grammy Award winner Fathy Salama, and have performed across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. My work spans live performance, film scoring, and original album production, blending traditional Arabic music with jazz, modern harmony, and sound design. As a tutor, I bring this real-world experience into every lesson. I’m passionate about helping students build a solid foundation while encouraging creative exploration. Whether you're learning guitar for the first time, working on your own music, or refining your production skills, I’ll guide you with patience, clarity, and a focus on your individual goals. You can expect a structured, practical approach tailored to your level and interests — whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced learner. I teach both guitar and music production (Logic Pro, Mixing & Mastering) with a flexible, hands-on style that makes complex ideas feel manageable and rewarding. As a tutor, I focus on building a strong musical foundation while encouraging creativity and personal expression. Whether I’m teaching guitar or music production, I adapt my lessons to each student’s goals, skill level, and musical taste. In guitar lessons, I combine technique, ear training, and repertoire with a practical, intuitive approach. Whether you're a complete beginner or an intermediate player, we'll work on rhythm, improvisation, and developing your unique sound. I also introduce music theory in a clear, hands-on way that supports playing and composing. For music production, I guide students through the entire process — from composing and arranging to mixing and mastering. I work with Logic Pro, and I’m happy to support students working on their own tracks. I emphasise workflow, sound design, and making the most of limited tools — ideal for aspiring producers working from home. Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, and I offer flexible pacing depending on the student’s focus and energy. I have over eight years of professional experience as a guitarist, composer, and producer. I’ve studied music production formally in London and have worked with internationally recognised artists including Grammy Award winner Fathy Salama. My background spans live performance, film scoring, studio production, and musical direction, and I draw on all of that to offer well-rounded, real-world insight. I welcome students of all levels and backgrounds — from absolute beginners to emerging musicians looking to develop their skills, or artists who want to become more self-sufficient creatively. I'm especially interested in helping students find their own voice and build confidence, whether they’re picking up an instrument for the first time or producing their first EP.
