About Jack
I am a final year Maths & Economics student inTrinity College Dublin.
I have substantial experience as a tutor, having taught grinds for two years to local Teens. During this time, I am proud to say that 15 out of 24 of my mathematics students achieved a H2 grade or higher, a testament to the effectiveness of my teaching approach. Additionally, I have written solutions for all leaving cert exam questions for business studies from 2011 to 2021 for a publishing company to be used in a revision book. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of the curriculum and the needs of junior certificate and leaving cert students.

My approach:
I believe in a personalised approach, wherein I closely assess each student's unique learning style, strengths, and areas that need improvement. This allows me to create a customized plan that caters to their individual needs. During lessons, I emphasize interactive learning, encouraging students to actively engage with the material. I ask questions, initiate discussions, and provide real-world examples to make the subject matter more relatable. Visual aids, diagrams, and multimedia resources are also used to enhance comprehension, particularly for complex concepts. Moreover, I place great importance on practice and application of knowledge, providing homework assignments and exercises to reinforce learning. Continuous feedback and regular assessments help track progress and identify areas requiring further attention and improvement.
My lessons are typically one hour long. This duration is designed to strike a balance between ensuring productive learning and respecting the attention span of students. Of course, lesson lengths can be adjusted as needed to accommodate specific learning needs or preferences.
Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:
