About Lisa
I’m Lisa. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in which I received a first class honours. I am now starting postgraduate Medicine. I have been giving grinds in Maths, Biology and Chemistry for the last 5 years. I've taught students at all levels in both Junior and Senior Cycle. I have a strong understanding of the course and requirements needed for students to receive excellent grades.

I use Zoom for my lessons. I share my screen and we work through concepts, examples, and exam questions together. Students will be very active throughout class, and then you will be sent the class workings, as well as additional notes and questions. I’m also available over email 7 days/week for any queries or questions a student may have regarding work I’ve given, or any issues that they come across in independent study.

Perfect! Emily is enjoying her sessions with Lisa she is very informative and puts her mind at ease and asks questions which is good as it keeps Emily thinking. She seems to be growing on confidence as time goes on regarding this subject which I do think that is from the support in having Lisa as an additional learning opportunity.

Lisa has been great with my daughter in helping her structure her study and grasp some topics she’s been struggling with. Lisa provided a lot of additional notes and responded very quickly to questions that my daughter had sent her.
Would highly recommend!!My daughter had the pleasure of working with Lisa as her Maths grinds teacher, and she couldn't be happier with the experience. Lisa had a great ability to explain more complex maths questions in a clear and concise manner.
She was patient and encouraging with my daughter which helped boost her confidence in Maths. Lisa also provided practice material and worked through challenging problems with her.
She was always available for questions and extra support outside of the scheduled sessions.
My daughter went from a H5 standard to receiving a H2 in her Leaving Cert and also developed a genuine interest in the subject.
I highly recommend Lisa to anyone seeking Maths grinds.Lisa has given grinds to both of my sons, one doing the Junior Cert and the other doing the Leaving Cert. She did a great job at keeping me involved and updated. Lisa really helped my boys with both of their grades going up, after a few months with Lisa. Between online classes, corrections, and email support, Lisa does an excellent job and I couldn’t recommend her more!
