About Ryan
I am an Artist by nature. Between drawing, painting, and making music, pool is always another extension of the Arts to me. It’s always been my most natural gift, as I have won many tournaments over the years, once a staggering 12 out of 15 straight weeks. I’ve put crowded silent rooms in awe in big games. I’ve advanced to national scales briefly with league teams (out of Chicago). I’ve supported myself over time playing this amazing game…and I’ve also taught so many people in between. The better you become, the more you’ll appreciate etiquette in billiards and also in life. The more I can teach you, the more you’ll see this game as another form of Art. I’m Ready to Start when you are!

Pool has always been my natural gift-but it wasn’t until I met my Mentor ‘Smiley’ when I really kicked my game into gear. He was a traveling hustler, based out of West Texas, where I was going to college. While teaching me ‘English’, strategy, compensation within shots, etiquette, controlling emotions, consistency, and ultimately how to hustle, we would travel to other cities such as Dallas or Austin to play all night in 24-hour pool halls. It was a breath of fresh air to do what I love and not have to “work” that year, I will not condone the gambling part unless requested. But I will show you all the tips of the trade that you need to level up your game. If you have a love and passion for the game like I do, and an openness to learn, in time you will do great things!
