About Albert
I am an experienced and enthusiastic piano tutor with a Master’s degree in Music, dedicated to helping students of all ages reach their goals. I have taught beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students preparing for exams or recitals. My lessons are student-centred, focusing on creating engaging, practical, and customised learning experiences. I use real-life examples and case studies to make music theory, rhythm, melody, and harmony easy to understand and relatable. Motivation plays a key role in my teaching, and I help students set achievable goals while celebrating their progress. Problem-solving is integrated into lessons to strengthen independent thinking and analytical skills. I maintain integrity, offering a patient, honest, and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and learn from mistakes. I am flexible, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, style, and preferences. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition. I prepare students for exams, performances, and competitions, ensuring technical skill and expressive playing. Lessons are available online or in-person for learners of all ages. I aim to foster creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Every lesson is designed to be enjoyable, motivating, and rewarding. I focus on helping students develop their own musical voice. My ultimate goal is to help students play confidently and express themselves through music.

I teach piano with a focus on making learning meaningful and enjoyable. Using real-life examples and case studies, I help students connect music to everyday life, such as comparing rhythms to walking patterns or harmony to teamwork. I emphasise motivation by setting clear goals and celebrating progress, helping students build confidence and a love for music. My lessons include problem-solving exercises, guiding students to think critically and discover solutions independently, which strengthens both musical skills and focus. Integrity is central to my approach. I create a patient, honest, and supportive environment where students feel safe to experiment and learn from mistakes. I am flexible, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style, whether for exams, performance, or enjoyment. Suitable for all ages, my teaching can be conducted online or in-person, and I also cover related topics like music theory, ear training, sight-reading, and basic composition. My ultimate goal is to help students play with confidence, express themselves through music, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the piano.
