About Anand
Greetings, and allow me to introduce myself as a professionally trained watercolor artist with 15 years of teaching experience and a strong foundation in fine arts. I have worked across classroom, studio, and plein air settings, and watercolor is a medium I continue to enjoy exploring and teaching every day.
Art has been a meaningful part of my life for many years, and teaching allows me to share that journey with learners who are curious and eager to grow. I have worked with students from different age groups and skill levels, helping them build strong fundamentals, improve observation, and gain confidence through steady practice.
Alongside my independent art practice, I have also served in a leadership role within a school art department. I enjoy supporting students at different stages of their artistic journey and look forward to guiding them with patience, clarity, and professional care.

My watercolor classes are designed around the individual learner and their comfort level with the medium. I begin by understanding whether a student needs to start from the basics or is ready to work at a more advanced pace, and lessons are planned accordingly.
I place strong emphasis on fundamentals such as water control, colour mixing, brush techniques, tonal values, and composition. These are taught through hands-on practice, supported by simple explanations and personal touch, so students learn by doing rather than feeling overwhelmed by theory.
Each class is 60 minutes long and conducted one-on-one or in small groups. Sessions usually include a short demonstration, followed by guided painting time and personalised feedback. I regularly teach landscapes, still life, realistic styles, and loose watercolor approaches, adapting each lesson to suit the student’s interests and goals.
Absolute beginners are welcome, and I also guide students in choosing and using basic materials such as paper, brushes, and colours. The classes are suitable for both adults and children, with guidance adapted to the learner’s age, level, and goals.
