About Akin
I tutor on a part-time basis at the moment as I am also pursuing higher qualifications (learning never stops!!). I have worked as an office administrator, a teacher and as a systems administrator (IT). I enjoy teaching as I see it as a way to make a difference and I try to make sure that learning takes place in a relaxed but studious situation. I believe in simplicity and the best approach is to know the fundamentals of your subject. I also hold the opinion that learning difficulties have a root cause and by tackling this often leads to a marked improvement in a child's academic performance as well as contribute to his/her sense of well-being. I am partial to sciences and technical subjects but believe in 'knowing about everything' as well.
