About Amirhosein
I'm a native Azerbaijani speaker, currently completing my Master's degree in Historical Sciences at the University of Padova. I speak 5 languages total — Persian, Azerbaijani, Italian, English, and Turkish — though I want to be upfront: Turkish is still a language I'm actively learning and building fluency in, not one I speak natively.
What I bring isn't native Turkish fluency — it's a real structural advantage. Azerbaijani and Turkish are closely related, sharing much of the same grammar, logic, and a lot of vocabulary. Because of that, I picked up Turkish faster than a typical learner would, and I know firsthand which parts are easy for an Azerbaijani speaker and which parts still trip people up.
I also work as a receptionist in an Italian 4-star hotel, where I use multiple languages daily with guests from different backgrounds. That job has sharpened my communication skills and patience — both of which carry directly into how I teach.
I have a strong personal interest in etymology and how languages connect, which shows up in my teaching style — I like showing students why a word or structure works, not just asking them to memorize it.
I'm honest about where I am: I'm not presenting myself as a native Turkish teacher. I'm someone with a genuine linguistic shortcut, real daily language experience through my job, and a teaching style built on patience and curiosity — which I think matters more to a beginner than perfection does.

I'm a native Azerbaijani speaker, and Azerbaijani and Turkish are closely related languages — sharing much of the same grammar structure, vocabulary, and logic. This gives me a real head start in understanding Turkish deeply, and I use that connection to help you learn faster and avoid common mistakes.
I'm not a native Turkish speaker — I'm learning and building fluency myself, the same way you will. That means I know exactly where the tricky parts are, because I'm working through them too. Lessons focus on practical vocabulary, real conversation, and the patterns that connect Azerbaijani and Turkish, so things click faster than they would with a textbook alone.
Each lesson is relaxed and encouraging — the goal is progress you can feel, not pressure or perfection.
