About Komal
KOMAL GANGANI
Brief description: Komal has inherited the legacy of kathak at birth. Born to the internationally acclaimed doyen of kathak, Late Shri Pandit Parveen Ganganiji of Jaipur gharana, Komal is the first girl of the family to take up kathak professionally. Having accompanied her father in international and national assignments of the top order, komal is already proving that girls are no less than boys and is a future kathak exponent in the making. She has earned a vast profile in a small age of seventeen years.

A star in the making, Komal's years of training are probably as much as her age! She will mesmerize you with her performances on stage, and win your heart with her amicable personality in person! She is like a breath of fresh air - sweet, kind and affectionate. Extremely dedicated and passionate for her art, Komal is one of the best artists I have seen and is also a very good teacher. As a teacher, she is disciplined and works hard to explain things to her students. I am sure she will take her father, Guruji Pandit Parveen Ganganiji's name to even greater heights as her career evolves. Watch out for this future Kathak icon!
I have known Ms. Komal for a few years. She is an extremely graceful and talented dancer. She has been trained by her father, the renowned Kathak Guru, Late. Shri Parveen Gangani. I am certain that she will impart her knowledge of Kathak to her students in the most dedicated manner.
