About Ally
Growing up in the ever-so-scenic New Zealand with a creative upbringing, I felt compelled to paint my surroundings; and have been doing so ever since. For 6 years I had taken art classes both in and outside of school with professional mentors. I have spent many hours out in nature painstakingly capturing it's beauty And many rainy days indoors bringing my imagination to life through flowing ink. The past 2 years, I have volunteered my skills to community workshops, teaching painting and basic art skills to up to 30 peers at a time and have seen these trainees flourish in their newfound or rekindled passion, even after our classes.

Painting is always a hands-on matter. I guide my peers step by step through the process, free of judgment, making our classes a welcoming environment for anyone of any skill level. At the beginning I outline the subject matter we will paint and any materials needed and proceed from there.
