About Srikrishnan
Krishna was born and raised in Chennai, Southern India. He started learning South Indian percussions from the South India's First Grammy Award Maestro T.H. Vikku Vinayakram (Percussionist from Shakti – John McLaughlin) at the age of 9. He started playing Ghatam (Indian clay pot) in professional classical concerts at 14, which slowly developed interests in other percussions like kanjeera (Frame Drums) and Morsing (Jaw-Harp). He studied Percussions for 15 years meanwhile completing his Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, India. His avid interest in bringing the Music and Computer together as Creative Sonic Arts led him to receive a Master of Science in Music Technology from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Indianapolis, USA.

I have been teaching for the past 5 years both in-person and online for students worldwide.
I prefer both one-to-one as well as group classes! But, hey! Group classes are fun! we get to learn from each other and its exciting!!!

Srikrishnan is one of the best when it comes to guitars and percussions. He's been a great teacher for the last 5 years personally. Since he's also a performing musician, he suggests lot of techniques that can be implemented not only theoretically, also practically ! I love how easy it is to follow his lessons. I would definitely recommend everyone to try his classes. I'm sure it is lot of fun and learning!
