About Jenny
Hello! My name is Jenny, and I am a native Filipino speaker with more than 12 years of formal education in the Filipino language. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in Filipino grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and oral communication.
I am passionate about helping others learn Tagalog in a clear, patient, and encouraging environment. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match each learner's goals, pace, and level of experience. Whether you are a complete beginner or someone looking to improve your speaking and comprehension skills, I am committed to making each lesson engaging, effective, and enjoyable.
As a tutor, I value professionalism, punctuality, and respect. As a native Filipino speaker with over 12 years of formal Filipino language education, I aim to make learning Tagalog simple, engaging, and practical. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence through clear explanations, interactive discussions, and real-life language use.
My lessons are tailored to each student's goals and learning pace. A typical lesson begins with a review of previous topics, followed by the introduction of new vocabulary, grammar, or conversational expressions. Students then practice through guided exercises, reading activities, pronunciation drills, and everyday conversations to reinforce their understanding.
What sets me apart is my patient and supportive teaching style. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, so I create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and practice without fear of making mistakes.
