About Hosiana
I am a BAKITA certified teacher for International Learners. I have been a seasonal teacher at a Nursery school and taught Swahili to adults both Online and In-person for expats who live in Tanzania. I enjoy sharing my culture with everyone and believe that learning a language is more than grammar. True fluency comes from mastering emotions, attitudes and cultural context behind words. My lessons not only build a student's capacity to communicate accurately, but also naturally, respectfully and confidently.

My lessons range from 30mins-90mins or more depending mostly on my student(s) schedule. I use songs, slides with pictures, stories and other interactive activities depending on student(s) level of learning and also preference. All this makes learning Swahili enjoyable, easy, effective and exciting.
