About Troy
I’m a Spanish tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Master of Education in Language Teaching. I especially enjoy working with older adults and retirees who want to learn Spanish for fun, travel, or mental stimulation. My lessons move at a calm, comfortable pace, using memory-friendly techniques that make learning easier and more enjoyable. I create a welcoming space where students feel supported and confident to explore the language. Practical dialogues, cultural stories, songs, and useful vocabulary are central to my teaching. These tools help learners use Spanish in real-life situations, making each lesson meaningful and relevant. I believe learning is a joyful journey that can happen at any age.
