About Andres

Hello! I'm Andrés, originally from Cádiz, a small town in southern Spain.

I have been teaching languages for 6 years, when I started traveling along South Asia, from India to Indonesia, New Zealand, and Eastern Europe. Now I am back in Europe, deepening online teaching and developing a more intuitive and joyful method of teaching spanish.

I am an ELE Spanish Teacher (2012) and I have continued studying about several subjects as: MCE, Subjunctive, game introduction in class, Cognitive Grammar, ICT tools, Communicative Method, ...

I started teaching English as a volunteer in Asia, then I worked two years as a Spanish teacher in New Zealand and now I teach personalized 1to1 classes in Brighton (UK). I love talking about languages, travel, education, music, politics, cooking, nutrition, history, agriculture and permaculture, among many other things.

About the lesson

In short, my methodology is to adapt the classes to your needs.

I have designed a method based on powerful online tools (video, games, podcast, readings, pronunciation, exercises) with permanent support by email. Conversation classes can be added to complete the immersion experience. More information at (concealed information)

For individual classes I follow the Communicative Method and use Cognitive Grammar techniques, applying them to audiovisual materials for each student. I consider the sessions as windows to the continuous learning offered by the information available online. My lessons are based on your level: what you need to learn? Tell me what you want to achieve, and I will design your program.

I like to say that more than a teacher I am a guide on your way to learn Spanish.

"I know Andres since few years ago, when we where working together in New Zealand. I realized his improvements both in English and French following his "Virtual Language Immersion" method, and sincerely I was impressed with his capacity to implement new skills in such a short period of time.
He was using the same method to teach spanish in town, with amazing results among his pupils. As he´s been learning languages (and I would bet he still does) he knows what the student needs along the process of language acquirement.
I can remember him complaining about endless grammar list of uses and focusing in dynamic conversation lessons, something that people appreciated."
