About Guillem
I’m a passionate and experienced math educator with a PhD in Mathematics and a deep love for teaching. I’ve worked both as a university lecturer and a private tutor, helping students from diverse backgrounds gain confidence in their mathematical abilities. What drives me is seeing the moment when a student truly gets a concept — when math stops being frustrating and starts making sense. I strive to create a calm, supportive atmosphere where questions are welcome and mistakes are part of the learning process. Having worked with teenagers, university students, and adult learners, I adapt my teaching style to each individual, focusing on clarity, curiosity, and long-term understanding. I offer personalized math lessons tailored to each student’s needs, whether they’re in high school, preparing for university entrance exams, or studying mathematics at undergraduate level. My goal is to help students understand math, not just memorize formulas — using visual explanations, real-life examples, and intuitive reasoning. I hold a PhD in Mathematics and have experience teaching at university level as well as tutoring high school students. My classes are interactive and flexible: we can focus on building solid foundations, tackling problem-solving strategies, or clarifying specific topics you struggle with. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are available online or in person in Barcelona. I’m especially passionate about helping students who feel stuck or discouraged — I believe everyone can enjoy math with the right guidance.
