About Kami
Hi, I'm Kami!
I've been studying music since I was young—starting with piano, picking up guitar in high school, and eventually discovering that singing was my real strength. These days, vocals are my main instrument.
I trained at The BRIT School, graduating in 2016 with a Triple Distinction* in Music, and later earned my degree from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, graduating with a 2:1 in 2020.
I’m a singer-songwriter and regularly perform solo with my acoustic guitar. I’ve gigged at venues across Manchester (Night and Day, Band on the Wall, Deaf Institute) and London (The Troubadour, Soho bars, The Ivy House), as well as busking around both cities. During my time at RNCM and BRIT School, I also took part in a wide range of projects and bands, performing in everything from acoustic sets to full-band showcases.
I was also part of a band called Tropical Boyfriend Catalogue, which was a fun and formative chapter of my music journey—playing original music, collaborating creatively, and gaining real-world experience on stage.

I've been teaching music since 2021 and absolutely love it. I work with students of all ages and abilities—from toddlers to adults in their 70s.

Lesson Info
Lessons usually run for 30–60 minutes depending on your age and level. I mix technique, creativity, theory, and repertoire in a way that keeps learning enjoyable and motivating.
