About Chris
I am a singer, actor, vocal coach, writer, arranger, recording artist based in Toronto. Hailing from Vancouver, B.C., I studied Classical music and musical theatre at Capilano University and I have trained and performed in a variety of musical genres including but not limited to classical, jazz, soul, rock, pop, blues, funk, musical theatre, and more. I have performed on stage and in studio with many amazing artists and groups such as Colin James, Dal Richards, The Sojourners, and The Nathaniel Dett Chorale to name a few.

I always shape my lessons to fit each student I teach. I believe in positive reinforcement and creating a fun, encouraging atmosphere. I start with the fundamentals of breathing, vocal technique, and music theory but always allow my student's interest to guide where our lessons go. Having studied many genres of music and performance, I believe I am uniquely qualified to offer a versatile and well-rounded musical education to my students whether they want to learn musical theatre and work on choreography to match or they just want to learn some top 40 hits and up their karaoke game. Not only am I confident in my ability to help my students sound better, but I can give them the foundations and tools to build a strong and healthy voice not just for singing but for day-to-day life as well.
