I went from bottom of the class to the top of the class in Sanskrit and learnt to enjoy and care about the subject because I had a teacher like Urmi Bardhan! Most people cover only literacy i.e reading and writing, but a language is so much more than that.Especially Sanskrit. I started off with Urmi ma'am knowing very little about Sanskrit. And after some failed attempts with teachers previously, I was quite convinced that I'd be lucky just to pass. Since I had heard very good things about her from my peers I decided to give it one last shot. And I'm glad I did! Urmi ma'am was thoroughly patient and always eager to take me through topics I wasn't confident about. Not just once or twice but multiple times. She was always encouraging and never fear inducing- something that's crucial for students who aren't inherently good at a certain subject. Also she always had the answers to every doubt, and her logic was always clear and easy to understand! I wholeheartedly recommend her as Urmi ma'am isn't just an absolute expert in the subject but also a great teacher. She's also a great cook so you'll be lucky if you get to taste something she makes!

She takes the effort to build extensively customised lesson plans in advance so that the needs of each student can be addressed and their respective skills sharpened.
