About Cristina
I always loved sharing my language and culture with others. Teaching Spanish allows me to combine my passion for languages, my experience in education, and my love for helping people communicate confidently.
I enjoy creating lessons that are friendly, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals. For me, teaching is not just about grammar or vocabulary—it’s about inspiring confidence, making learning enjoyable, and helping students feel comfortable using Spanish in real life.
Outside of teaching, I have a wide range of interests that I love to share with my students. I enjoy travelling and discovering new cultures, gardening, singing and music, exploring art, and watching films. I bring this curiosity and enthusiasm into my lessons, making learning Spanish a dynamic and enjoyable experience.

Hi! I’m Cristina, a native Spanish speaker from Spain with over 7 years of experience giving private Spanish lessons in Madrid, plus 7 years working in early education in Ireland and the UK. I bring patience, creativity, and a practical approach to every lesson.
My teaching methodology is communicative and student-centred. I focus on real-life conversation, practical vocabulary, and confidence in speaking, while also integrating grammar and comprehension as needed. Lessons are relaxed, interactive, and adapted to your goals, whether you are a beginner starting from scratch or an adult looking to improve your fluency and conversation skills.
Typically, lessons last 60 minutes, but we can adjust depending on your needs. I aim to make each session engaging and productive, using dialogues, role-play, and exercises tailored to everyday situations like travel, work, or social interactions.
These lessons are ideal for adult learners, professionals, travellers, or anyone looking to speak Spanish confidently. I love creating a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practising, making mistakes, and improving step by step.
