About Debjit
Hi, I’m Debjit Biswas, a programmer and mentor, and the creator of Sim8085, a free web app used by thousands of students and educators to learn 8085 assembly. I began programming in 2000 with BASIC and have since worked with languages like C, JavaScript, Haskell, Elm, Java, Go, and Rust. Since 2009, I've been building professional software across the full stack, from frontend architecture to backend systems and infrastructure. I've also contributed to open source tools like sudo and GNUSim8085 and led engineering teams. What matters most to me is writing clear, elegant, and maintainable software, not just code that works. I teach programming for those who want to understand it deeply, not just frameworks and syntax, but the principles behind them: how to think, design, and build real software.

I believe students learn programming best through hands-on problem solving rather than rote memorization. My teaching style is interactive and structured, breaking each topic into clear, manageable steps.
I focus on building strong fundamentals with real-world examples and live coding. Students are encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, and learn by doing, while I provide hints and guidance.
I break down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps and use hands-on coding exercises to help students learn by doing. Every concept is tied to a real-world example, ensuring students understand the "why" behind the code.
