About Ling
Hello! I'm Ling, a native Mandarin speaker from Beijing now living in Melbourne, Australia.
Having lived in China, New Zealand, the United States, and now Australia, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and adapting to a different culture.
My lessons are designed especially for adult beginners who want to speak practical Mandarin with confidence. Whether you're learning Chinese for travel, daily life, work, or simply personal interest, I will help you build real communication skills step by step.
I am patient, friendly, and passionate about helping students feel comfortable speaking Chinese from the very first lesson. My goal is to make learning Mandarin enjoyable, practical, and stress-free.

We will practise everyday conversations, travel Chinese, restaurant ordering, shopping, making friends, and common situations you may encounter in China or when speaking with Chinese people.
