About Maria
Bachelor degree in Biochemistry and master degree in Food Science. Through my academic years I had courses on management and phycology of behaviour.
I have experience teaching math and science subjects. My teaching method is far from conventional. I use motivational techniques and innovative teaching methods. We will play memory games, guessing games and charades to help you improve your Portuguese.
I can easily translate Portuguese to English and vice-versa.

You will have fun while you learn Portuguese. We will play games and have conversations about any topic you are interested in.
I will show you Facebook posts, news, and common text messages. I will give you the link to YouTube videos and TV shows in Portuguese.
We can start from the basics by focus on Portuguese conversation. We will practice key phrases and typical expressions. We will have conversations the way we usually have in Portugal. I will also help you reading some basic words and I will pay special attention to pronunciation.
If you already know Portuguese but you want to improve your writing or conversation skills, I can also help you with that. In this case I will focus on vocabulary, syntactic and pronunciation.
