About Nicholas
I am an international concert pianist known for not only my performances across the globe but also my inspiring story. Having been born with only one hand, I defied expectations and went on to become an award winning pianist, performing on prestigious stages around the world. I studied at Royal College of Music and quickly gained recognition for his extraordinary technique and musicality.
In addition to my concert career, I am passionate about teaching and sharing my love of music. I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, emphasizing the importance of creativity, progress, and enjoyment in the learning process.

I am a fun and friendly piano teacher, teaching all ages and levels in Colchester and surrounding areas as well as worldwide via online.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Classical Piano to all levels and ages.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I graduated in 2012 from the prestigious Royal College of Music and in 2018 was made an Honorary Member of the RCM by King Charles.
- How much do you charge?
I offer all potential new students a free 30 minute consultation lesson. After that, if you decide you would like to have lessons with me, my fees are as follows*:
Piano Lesson per hour: £50.00
45 Mins: £37.50
30 mins £25.00
- Where do you teach?
I can either teach at my studio in Colchester, or alternatively I can deliver the lessons online via a smart phone or an iPad.
- When are you available?
I am very flexible with days and times I can teach, so negotiating a convenient time for both me and you wont be a problem.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach people aged from anything between 3 years old through to the more mature adult. Currently my youngest student is 4 years old and my oldest student is 86.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare my students for ABRSM instrumental and/or theory exams.

I have had lots of different piano teachers since I was 7, but I found I got bored easily so gave up quickly, however since learning with Nicholas I have found each lesson to be fun and interesting therefore I have stuck with what he has taught me and am now about to take my ABRSM Grade 6 Exam
My weekly Piano lesson with Nicholas is one of the highlights of my week, not only do I learn lots, but I enjoy the lesson immensely, I highly recommend his unique and fun teaching style
