About David
Hi, I'm David, your guitar instructor. I love music and have been playing guitar for many years. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from young elementary school children to seniors and retirees. My lessons are "student-centered." Instead of the instructor unilaterally teaching, I prioritize the student's own desire to "play this" and "become this." I excel at teaching gently and carefully, tailored to each individual's pace and goals. Music is inherently very free and fun. I strive to create an environment where you can learn at your own pace without feeling nervous and in a relaxed manner. Hello! In my guitar lessons, I value a "student-centered" style where each student is the star. Rather than the instructor dictating the pace, I provide a fun and relaxed learning environment tailored to your needs. No prior musical knowledge or ability to read sheet music is necessary! Even beginners will receive careful support to help them play their favorite song in their first lesson. Furthermore, my lessons go beyond simply reading and playing sheet music. You can experience a wide range of musical joys, from developing your listening skills (hearing), to improvising and expressing yourself freely, and even composing to cultivate your creativity, all according to your interests!
