About Antonia
I am a photographer / visual artist who lives between Paris and Mexico City. My studies include a master's degree at le Fresnoy, studio national d'art contemporain in France, a bachelor's degree from the Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague, The Netherlands; and a degree in Communication at UASLP, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. My work has been exhibited at the Grand Palais "Dans la nuit des images"; in Paris, Miró Foundation and Loop07 in Barcelona, La Bande Vidéo in Quebec, Arts Bridge France-Okayama Project in Japan, Mediarte Festival 6.0, Monterrey in Mexico , Slick in Paris; Henry Langlois International Meetings in Poitiers, Videoformes in Clermont Ferrand, Gijón Optics Festival, Spain; 7th edition of the Photography Conference in Damascus, Syria, Art Basel in Miami; Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival; Australian Center for Moving Images, Sydney Film Festival and Locarno in Switzerland. I have received scholarships for production / creation / artistic residences: in le Fresnoy (where I obtained a special mention of the quality of the realisation for the "Washroom" installation); in Syria by the French Institute and the French Cultural Center of Damascus; Okayama City, Japan for the Changing Arts Bridge Project; at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris and in Quebec by the Arts and Letters Council of Quebec and Pépinières Européennes. I have also animated several photography and video workshops, and received commissions for the realization of images for the performing arts (theater, live concerts, etc.) and received photographic commissions for architecture and portraiture.

I like to transmit the technique from the creative process that involves making an image. Stimulate the student with historical examples of world photography, visits to exhibitions and a practice focused on the student's own needs (portrait / architecture / social events ...)
