About Chaerin
Hi! I’m Chaerin, a native Korean speaker and a graduate of Yonsei University, one of Korea’s leading universities.
I have three years of professional experience working as a marketer in Korea, and I’m currently pursuing an MA in Arts & Cultural Management at King’s College London.
While I was at university, I also had experience teaching Korean to foreigners in Korea. I really enjoyed helping people communicate naturally in Korean and understand not only the language but also Korean culture.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some knowledge of Korean, I can tailor our lessons to your level and goals. We can focus on everyday conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or more practical Korean for academic and professional situations.
I’d love to help you feel more confident using Korean in real-life situations!

[My teaching approach]
I focus on practical Korean and natural conversation, helping you understand how Koreans actually speak in everyday situations.
I tailor each lesson to your level and personal goals. Lessons can include conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and writing.
Through my marketing experience, I’ve written articles and copy and created content for a Korean brand, so I can also help with more advanced Korean, including professional vocabulary and writing.

- 50–60 minutes, depending on your preference.
- Materials: I’m happy to use a textbook of your choice or online materials from the King Sejong Institute.
[Who are the lessons for?]
Beginners to advanced learners interested in Korean conversation, culture, travel, study or work.
I prefer online lessons, but I can also teach in person around Temple or London Bridge.
