About Jeancy

I'm Jeancy Tshibemba Mukendi but you can call me Jeancy.
I have a strong academic background with a Bachelor Honours degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. My fascination with Mathematics began at an early age and has only grown over the years. I find joy in the logical beauty of mathematics and the way it provides solutions to complex problems.

My interest in teaching Mathematics comes from my desire to help others appreciate the subject as much as I do. I believe that Mathematics is not just about numbers and equations; it's about developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are applicable in everyday life. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable parts and seeing that "aha" moment when a student grasps a challenging concept.

Teaching Mathematics allows me to share my knowledge and inspire confidence in my students. I am dedicated to making learning Mathematics an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Whether you are struggling with the basics or looking to excel in advanced topics, I am here to guide you on your journey to mastering Mathematic

In my tutoring sessions, I cover a wide range of mathematical topics, ensuring that students build a strong foundation and gain confidence in their abilities. Here’s an overview of what you can expect from lessons in specific areas:

Arithmetic:
Arithmetic forms the building blocks of mathematics. In my arithmetic lessons, I focus on fundamental operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Students will learn to work with fractions, decimals, percentages, and integers, mastering the essential skills needed for everyday problem-solving. My approach is to make arithmetic intuitive and accessible, ensuring students develop a solid understanding that will serve as the foundation for more advanced topics.

Algebra:
Algebra is a crucial step in mathematical development, introducing students to abstract thinking and the use of symbols. In my algebra lessons, I cover topics such as linear equations, inequalities, polynomials, and quadratic equations. Students will learn how to manipulate expressions, solve equations, and understand functions. I emphasize logical reasoning and step-by-step problem-solving, helping students to grasp the concepts and apply them confidently.

Trigonometry:
Trigonometry explores the relationships between the angles and sides of triangles, which is fundamental in many areas of mathematics and science. In my trigonometry lessons, I teach students about trigonometric functions, identities, and equations. We’ll delve into topics such as the unit circle, sine, cosine, tangent, and their applications. My goal is to make trigonometry relatable and clear, showing students how these concepts are used in real-world situations, such as physics and engineering.

Calculus:
Calculus is the study of change and is a cornerstone of higher mathematics. In my calculus lessons, I cover both differential and integral calculus, guiding students through concepts such as limits, derivatives, integrals, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. I focus on developing a deep understanding of how calculus describes motion, growth, and other dynamic systems. My approach is to demystify calculus, making it approachable and engaging, and helping students to appreciate its power and versatility in various fields of study.

These lessons are tailored to meet the needs of each student, whether you're looking to build a strong foundation or tackle more advanced topics. I am here to support your learning journey every step of the way.
