About Joshwa
As a mathematics student at the TU / e, I have gained the necessary knowledge in various branches of mathematics in my bachelor, currently I am about to start the math master. During my bachelor I taught other students at the university and at a high school I gave young people explanations about mathematics.

Vision: I believe that anyone can understand math as soon as that person can be open to it. I think that the most important requirement is trust. Often problems in the learning process do not arise from lack of motivation, but from the lack of trust. This confidence can be built up through exercises. Here, failure is at least as important as success. Strategy: I think it is important to get to know the child first, so that I can choose a strategy that fits the childs individual learning style. Specifically, I would let him / her make a number of assignments to see his / her learning style and current approach. I would also discuss with the child what he / she finds difficult. Although the strategy is largely dependent on the child, I have some general learning methods. For example, I think independence is very important. The child should get better and better over time to tackle a problem, to come up with a plan himself.
