About Stefano
2013-to date, Lecturer in Italian, University of Reading 2013-2014, Study Skills Adviser, University of Reading 2017 - PhD in Italian, University of Reading 2010 - MA in Italian Philology, University of Salerno, Italy 2008 - BA in Italian, University of Salerno, Italy You may also visit my academic profile (conferences, publications, translation, theatre at Reading) on academia.edu and on italianservices.info Native speakers are not necessarily good teachers. Cheap teachers are not always good. If you are sick, you want to be seen by the best doctors, don't you? Well, it's the same for learning a language: you need a good teacher, not an improvised one (and there are too many out there bragging about teaching Italian for decades).

A one-size-fits-all approach is NOT my thing. Every student has different needs and lessons need to be tailored accordingly. I also run Italian language courses for small groups (max 8 students). It's cheaper and my students enjoy it a lot: BEGINNERS, Thursdays 5-6:30 pm POST-BEGINNERS, Mondays, 5:30-7 pm; PRE-INTERMEDIATE, Mondays, 9-10:30 am & 5:30-7 pm; Wednesdays, 6:30-8 pm; INTERMEDIATE, Saturdays 9:15-10:45 We also have some fun with workshops about Italian & Cooking, Italian & Cinema, Italian & Music, Italian Grammar, & Italian Slang: days and time vary to suit participants' needs. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT PRICE AND OFFERS, please do not hesitate to contact me. Please do note that I can travel to your place BUT there is an additional cost, which will be decided together according to time and locations.

Stefano is passionate, reliable, punctual and professional.
My husband and I are both native Spanish speakers and found in Stefano the most reliable and innovative teacher we have ever had.
His use of technology made lessons fun and interesting. Never got bored.
Last summer we went to Italy on holiday, and for the first time we didn't feel lost and isolated.
Very good tutor, understands what the student needs to progress further. Has helped me and my friend pass our exams
Before I emigrated to the uk my Italian wasn't perfect but thanks to Stefano, now my Italian is better than my English.
