About Michael
I hold a BA in Linguistics/MA in Jewish Education, and have studied at top Jerusalem yeshivot including Aish HaTorah, the Conservative Yeshiva, and Yeshivat Darché Noam. I’m experienced in teaching Biblical Hebrew, Mishnaic Hebrew, Modern Hebrew, Talmudic Aramaic, and Rashi script.

Michael has a true gift for teaching. His enthusiasm and patience with language beginners is unmatched. While studying Persian, I felt that he fostered an environment where I wanted to do better every day, and gave me all the tools to do so, but without any sense of judgement when life has gotten hectic on my end and I didn't meet all of my goals. He is a skilled teacher! I am so happy I found Michael, and am excited to begin a new language (Hebrew) with him soon!
Michael is an excellent teacher with an incredible intuition for languages. Over the course of a summer spent at an institute for Jewish learning, Michael would regularly volunteer to assist other students in Hebrew vocabulary and grammar, doing so with warmth, patience, and humor. If you are looking for a Hebrew teacher, I highly recommend Michael!
Michael was extremely helpful in teaching me grammar fundamentals and has a wide background in a number of languages overall. He’s a great person to learn with!
