About Cormac
I have been playing music for over 15 years in one form or another. Throughout my childhood and early adult life I have practiced various forms of guitar ranging from classical to blues, jazz and rock. I completed my bachelors degree of music, majoring in contemporary (jazz) performance at the University of Newcastle in 2019 and have used private tuition as a way to help reinforce what I have learned over the course of my study.

You should learn what you love. It is my job to provide the fundamental skills to set you on your musical journey. I teach students skills that allow them to have the freedom to explore the music they are inspired by. Whether it be breaking down complex songs piece by piece, or helping a student with scales or chords, I have made it my mission to be versatile and adaptive to the students needs. It is my mission to always be a student of music, most importantly.
