Spiros is the real deal. A true NYC blues and rock guy who knows his stuff inside and out. I’ve been taking in-home lessons with him for a few months now, working on electric at an intermediate level, and he just gets it. He keeps things relaxed, meets you where you are, and knows how to break down the tricky parts without making it feel like a lecture. Easy to schedule with, easy to learn from, and an all-around cool guy to spend an hour playing guitar with. Highly recommend.
Spiros is an excellent guitar teacher with a solid grasp of music theory. He can relate it to the music you’re playing to help you write better music and improvise.
Spiros is my greek teacher, and we have done a lot of music together as well. Over the last three years we have worked on songs on both guitar and ukulele. He is a very patient teacher, and his kindness, humor and genuine compassion for people have made him not only a teacher but a good friend. I would recommend his teaching to anyone. You will enjoy his lessons, and his deep love for music and for life.

Spiros is a great teacher! He teaches me bouzouki (essentially a greek guitar) and also Greek lessons. He is very knowledgable and an effective teacher. I enjoy working with him very much! I highly recommend Sprios to anyone looking to start learning or develop their skills in guitar or bouzouki.
